Today my nephew announced it was his own "Day of Perfection"---a day where he could avoid doing all the things he didn't want to do. And focus on only doing the things he wanted to do.
That involved not making his bed, eating at Chik-Fil-A and playing games all day.
If I had a Day of Perfection, it would involve:
NO work.
NO cleaning.
It would involve eating pizza (something I love but I avoid most of the time) and smoothies. Hiking with Prince in the mountains. Cuddling on the couch while doing genealogy on MY OWN FAMILY. Shopping for clothes. And maybe borrowing some of my friends' children to fill my house with laughter and playing. Since that is cute and fun. My house is usually empty of kids' noises.
I don't get too many days coming close to a DAY OF PERFECTION.
However, if you could have a PERFECT DAY where you planned it to be just the things you wanted to do without all the other things you definitely DO NOT want to do... what would it include?
